Food Porn

rice noddles with rosted pork. the pork was delish! I could eat that pork my entire life.

Nomnomnomonom.
Yesterday evening we went to this Chinese restaurant in the Pipe.
Really cheap, awesome, greasy Chinese food.
But it's fun coz I always get the question if I'm Chinese.
Even funnier that Veronica, my friend who also loves Asian food, is half Chinese, but no one ever asks her.
I've stopped saying I'm Swedish coz it harder to explain the whole story so to save energy and words I just say that I'm Korean.
But it's kinda tricky coz then they start speaking Korean to me.
But due to this I learned the most common Korean words so I can just nod and smile.
Yeah, it took me 6 weeks to learn 안녕하세요 and 감사합니다.
So yesterday when the cute Chinese lady asked me if I was Chinese I just said "no, I'm Korean."
She replied 감사합니다 (thank you).
And I smiled and nodded.
How can I reply to thank you in Korean?
참 잘 오셨습니다?
But it's really hard to lean that.
Anyway my point with this post is not to have a Korean Language lesson.
So me and Veronica always ask for chopsticks and are the only ones who put a lot of chili sauce on the food.
and everyone always look at us like we're crazy.
just because we can eat with sticks and handle the heat.
we're awesome.
but I really need to learn how to eat spicy food.
I can handle spicy food but Veronica plays in a totally different league.
I wanna be able to eat spicy food like her.
But when I do.
I get cramps in my stomach.
And need to be alone in a certain room all night.

Just say "안녕히 계서요" and bow slightly towards her (kinda like you're bending over). It works for me :P
